Gillingham have added to their attacking options with the capture of Lamin Sillah on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.
The 20-year-old, who signed for Forest last summer on a three-year deal from Olympiacos, could go straight into the squad for Saturday's home game against Northampton Town.
Sillah, a Gambian U20 international, began his career playing for Steve Biko FC before signing for the Greek side in 2024. He scored nine times and assisted five others in just 17 games in the U19 Super League before earning his move to the City Ground last summer.
He played three times for the club's U21 side in the EFL Trophy last season.
Speaking to the media team on signing his deal, he said: "It's an historic club, a big club, I spoke to the manager and I got some positive things from him and that gave me confidence.
"I feel it's the right time for me [to go on loan]. Nottingham Forest have been really supportive, I have people down there helping me a lot.
"I'm quick and I will give everything I have. I can't wait, I feel great about it."
An interview with the player will be uploaded to Gills TV shortly.
