Remeao Hutton says he is enjoying his Football this season and believes he is in one of the best spells of his career to date.
The right-back is hopeful that when the opportunities present themselves, the team will be clinical in putting them away. Despite the strong start to the campaign, Hutton is insistent that the team is remaining grounded, crediting the togetherness of the squad.
Hutton is enjoying life in ME7, attributing that to the environment around the Football Club, and working with Gareth Ainsworth.
On Barnet…
Hopefully, they don’t have the ball as much as Crawley did, and hopefully we can impose our style a bit more, and the chances that we do create, we can hopefully put them away.
We always know that anyone can beat anyone in this league on their day, so we just have to be ready for them, and hopefully, we’re ready. We can be aggressive and be on the front foot and create chances. If we can put them away on our day, we’re very good.
The squad staying grounded…
I think that we just try to focus on the next game and try not to get ahead of ourselves. I think that our aim when the season started was to be better than what we were last year. Everyone knows their jobs and their non-negotiables. We have put that into practice.
Life this season...
This season is the most that I have enjoyed my football and is probably the best that I have played, since the Gaffer came in. I am enjoying working with him, and as you can see, walking around the place, everything has changed. The standards have been raised. If we can keep that up until the end of this season and next season, then I think that we will be in a good position.
I think that I have added a few things to my armoury. We have had conversations, and everyone knows what they need to work on. We stay outside after training, practising stuff in little units. Everyone is improving and getting better.
On the different kick-off times and whether they make a difference...
Not really. Obviously, we have played early kick-offs before, and late kick-offs as well. Everyone is on the same plan. We have Jamma [James Russell] put stuff into the group chat on how we should eat and what time we should eat, so everyone is on the same page. It doesn’t really make a difference.
