We are delighted to share that Neil Warnock will be our special guest for a Sportsman's Dinner at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Thursday October 16.
The former Sheffield United, Cardiff City, Crystal Palace and QPR boss will be interviewed on stage by our compere, Adger Brown.
Warnock, now 76, works as an advisor for Torquay United, having been interim manager at Aberdeen last year. He previously had management spells at Huddersfield, Middlesbrough, Rotherham, Leeds United, Bury, Oldham, Plymouth Argyle and Notts County.
As a player, Neil began his career with Chesterfield and went on to have extended spells at Rotherham, Hartlepool, Scunthorpe and Barnsley. Operating on the wing, Warnock made 327 appearances and scored 36 goals before retiring at the age of 30.
His first spell in management came at Gainsborough Trinity but after less than a year was on the move to Burton. He won the Conference as manager of Scarborough in 1987.
Warnock has eight promotions to his name and has managed over 1600 fixtures.
On October 16, Neil will meet with the evening's sponsor MEMS Power Generation, before joining guests in the Great Hall at Priestfield for a three-course meal.
