The Football Club was delighted to host a fundraising event at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Sunday.
This was the third year in succession that the Family Fun Day was held at Priestfield, with all proceeds going to the children’s ward at Medway Maritime Hospital, and to the London Evelina Children’s Hospital.
First-Team players, Taite Holtam and Jonny Williams, made an appearance with “Mister Maker” also placed in the main car park for a meet and greet session with hundreds of attendees. Gills own mascots, Tommy and Tammy, also popped by!
The Great Hall had live entertainment on stage with conference rooms on the upper floors used for games and activities. Emergency service vehicles also arrived and helped educate children on what their responsibilities are in certain situations.
Several food outlets were accessible, along with a very popular ice cream van! Some supercars were also on show.
A tombola brought proceedings to a close.
We would like to thank all those who attended, along with volunteers, who ensured the event went smoothly.
