The club can confirm that it has triggered an option clause in Bradley Dack’s contract which will see the midfielder remain at MEMS Priestfield Stadium for the 2026/27 season.
Dack, 32, has played 57 times for the club since rejoining for a second spell in the summer of 2024, and has scored eight goals in all competitions.
In his first spell, lasting more than five years, he netted 38 times in 185 appearances before signing for Blackburn in the summer of 2017. He went on to play for Sunderland before making his return to Kent.
He has captained the side on a number of occasions and has moved into the top 30 in the club’s all-time appearance records. He sits 26th when it comes to total goals scored.
On his deal being extended, he said: "I am really happy. The club means an awful lot to me and my family and I just want us to do well.
"We have five games left and we want to get as many points as we can. It will probably look a bit different next year, but we need to be ready to go from the start."
An interview with Bradley will appear on the website in due course.
