Conor Masterson has signed a new one-year deal at MEMS Priestfield Stadium, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2026.
The 26-year-old, who was voted the club's "Player of the Year" at the end of the 2023-24 season has, to date, made 112 appearances and scored nine goals across three spells at ME7, two of which were loan deals before the defender penned a permanent contract in the summer of 2023.
Masterson came through the youth ranks at Liverpool but made his professional debut for Queens Park Rangers, having moved to Loftus Road in the summer of 2019, that coming at home to Swansea in the FA Cup in the opening week of 2020.
He first joined Gillingham on loan in January 2022, completing the season in Kent before rejoining the club in January in 2023 on similar terms. That summer he signed a permanent two-year contract to stay at Priestfield.
Last season he scored once in 26 outings, that proving to be the winner in a 1-0 home win against Bradford.
On signing his new deal, Conor said: "I know the club inside out, I have played my best Football here and I am excited to get going again.
"I have a connection with the fans. We are all hungry now for next season; we know what we want and we'll take it one game at a time and focus on ourselves."
An interview with the defender will be available on the club website shortly.
