Gillingham will play Ebbsfleet United in a pre-season friendly at the Kuflink Stadium on Friday July 31.
Kick-Off is set for 7pm.
This is the first friendly that has been agreed ahead of the new season, which kicks off with a Carabao Cup tie on Saturday August 8. However, a Gills XI will visit Sheppey on Tuesday July 14.
Ebbsfleet, under the management of former Gills midfielder Josh Wright, finished ninth in the Conference South last season, only missing out on the play-offs due to an inferior goal difference.
Former Gills players include Jake Hessenthaler, Dom Samuel and Ben Chapman.
