Josh Andrews has won the October "Goal of the Month" vote following his strike against Salford City.
The striker pulled a goal back for the Gills at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on October 25, and his effort received 77% of the vote, sponsored by Ability Plus, with Jonny Williams' strike against MK Dons coming second, and Elliott Nevitt third for his effort at home to Cheltenham.
Andrews did brilliantly to find the back of the net following an initial cross from Remeao Hutton. Seb Palmer-Houlden saw an effort blocked, as did Ethan Coleman. A ball in the air received a clever flick towards Andrews by Sam Vokes. Josh kept the ball in the air with his first touch before a low drive with his second touch found the bottom left corner.
Josh will be presented with a bottle of champagne by sponsors, Ability Plus, following warm-up this Saturday.
