Marcus Wyllie joins Ebbsfleet on loan

Wyllie

Marcus Wyllie has joined Ebbsfleet United on loan until the end of the season.

The 26-year-old striker, who has made 27 appearances and scored three times for the Gills since arriving at MEMS Priestfield Stadium in the summer of 2024, joins up with former teammate Max Ehmer who joined Fleet last July.

The National League South side are currently managed by Josh Wright and sit fifth in the table, nine points shy of Dorking Wanderers who are top.

Wyllie arrived at ME7 from Enfield Town after a prolific spell at the non-league side, notably scoring in the Isthmian Premier Division Play-Off Final against Chatham Town at the Bauvill Stadium.

He made his Gills debut in an EFL Cup tie against Swansea City before netting his first goal against Crystal Palace U21 at Priestfield in September 2024.

He played ten times for Dagenham and Redbridge while on loan last season.

He could make his Fleet debut against Horsham at the Hop Oast Stadium on Tuesday evening.

We wish Marcus all the very best.
