Goal of the Month | February

GOTM

It is time to pick your "Goal of the Month" for February!

Our competition, sponsored by Ability Plus, sees three entries this time around with Ronan Hale's brace against Tranmere, and Robbie McKenzie's strike at Barrow being the contenders.

All you need to do is watch our video here to remind you of the goals before voting here, or by the link at the bottom of the page.

The goals up for the award are as follows:

GOAL A - Ronan Hale v Tranmere (1)

The Northern Ireland international joined Gills during the January transfer window and opened his account during the first-half against Tranmere. A corner from Bradley Dack was cleared, but only as far as Armani Little whose header back into the mix was met by Hale, on the turn, and he guided an effort into the bottom corner from six yards.

GOAL B - Ronan Hale v Tranmere (2)

The striker bagged his second of the afternoon in different circumstances when a corner from Max Clark was sent towards the penalty spot. Hale had shrugged off his marker and simply guided a header down the centre of the goal and the keeper was unable to keep it out.

GOAL C - Robbie McKenzie v Barrow

With 12 minutes of added time having already been played at Holker Street, Gills had one final opportunity to take all three points from Cumbria when we were awarded a corner. Lenni Cirino's delivery was headed away, but only as far as Euan Williams who managed to guide the ball back into the box.

McKenzie, with the ball at his feet, turned and managed to get a shot away and his effort found the left corner to give Gillingham a dramatic late victory.
