Gills new signing Ronan Hale says he is excited to get going having joined the club from Ross County.
Hale put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Wednesday and will train with his new teammates for the first time today.
Speaking to the club website he said: "It's the place I want to be to be playing my Football and I can't wait to get started.
“I felt it was time to move on, better myself, and score goals in different leagues. It's a new challenge now which I am looking forward to. I love scoring goals, I will work my socks off and do what I can for the team. I am really excited.
“When I spoke to the Gaffer and heard about the place it was the talk around the project that was going on here and getting ourselves back up the leagues; it was something I was excited to be a part of, and hopefully I can add my bit to it.”
Ronan arrives at ME7 knowing a few of the current players as he explained.
“I used to play with Conor Masterson in the Ireland age groups and I know Remeao Hutton and Josh Andrews from my time at Birmingham so it will be good to link up with them as I haven’t seen them for a while.
“I am ready to go."
