Armani Little says the squad needs to reset and fully focus on Tuesday night's game at Notts County following Saturday's defeat to league leaders Bromley.
The Gills Captain was frustrated with the manner in which they allowed Bromley to take a commanding three-goal lead, knowing that a team in their position would punish them for such mistakes.
However, with such a quick turnaround to Tuesday night at Notts County, Little is keen for the team to respond immediately and to try and come away with a positive result from Meadow Lane.
Being punished for errors...
The first-half was not acceptable. We gifted them, and they took their goals well. They were really clinical, but it's the mistakes from us. When you do that against a top of the league side, they are going to punish you, and it's hard to get back into the game. I think that we have to cut that out and give ourselves more of a chance to go on and win.
If you are conceding three goals in the first-half, then it is a mountain to climb, so you make it hard for yourself.
They are at the top for a reason and are good at what they do. I think that if we can cut out the individual mistakes, and that is not blaming anyone, I think that all the boys down there know that. They were clinical, which went against us.
Shifting the focus to Tuesday night...
We have got another game on Tuesday, Notts County away. It's another massive game, so we have got to go there and take the game to them.
You don't want to have Saturday to Saturday when you lose 4-1, especially at home, so it gives us another chance. It's another big opportunity. We are down at the minute, but we are not out of it. All roads lead to Tuesday now.
We have to dust ourselves off now. We can't dwell on that. We have to reset, and Tuesday is going to come around very quickly, so we have got get ready for that, recover, and put everything into Tuesday night now.
