Gillingham will play Reading in a pre-season friendly at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Saturday July 12.
Kick-Off is set for 3pm.
Reading finished seventh in League 1 last season, finishing just three points shy of Leyton Orient who secured the final play-off place in the division.
The last competitive meeting against the Royals took place in August 2017 where Gills were beaten at the Madjeski Stadium 2-0 in the opening round of the Carabao Cup.
Gareth Ainsworth's squad, in addition to this friendly, will also visit Dover (July 8, 7:30), Ebbsfleet United (July 22, 7:45) and Dartford (July 26, 3pm) in build-up to the 2025/26 season which begins on Saturday August 2.
