Our 2012-13 League 2 title winning manager, Martin Allen, is making a return to MEMS Priestfield Stadium for a special dinner / Q + A event inside the Great Hall on Friday April 17.
Martin led the club to championship glory for the first time in nearly 50 years in April 2013, clinching a memorable 2-2 draw at home to AFC Wimbledon which ensured Gillingham would go into the final game of the season as newly crowned champions.
On the night Martin will be sharing some stories from his time in charge, including memorable moments, dressing room tales and behind-the-scenes experiences, alongside special guests.
Those in attendance will enjoy pie and mash while the evening unfolds like a matchday, with “kick-off”, “half-time” and “extra-time" all pencilled in.
A live Q & A will give supporters the chance to ask their own questions, and a photographer will be present throughout the night. Fans are encouraged to bring medals, memorabilia and club shirts to celebrate the club’s shared history.
Expect a relaxed night of football stories, nostalgia and plenty of laughs!
