Goalkeeper Taite Holtam has signed for Cray Valley Paper Mills on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old, who started in Gills EFL Trophy tie against Wycombe in November of last year, has already played 12 times for Ashford while on loan earlier in the season but will now play a division higher with Cray, managed by former Tonbridge boss Steve McKimm, currently 19th in the Isthmian Premier League.
Taite made his first-team debut for the Gills in April 2025, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win against MK Dons before keeping his place for a 1-1 draw at Cheltenham less than a week later.
Prior to that, Holtam had spent time on loan with Herne Bay, Phoenix Sports and Sheppey United.
Taite could make his Cray Valley PM debut this Saturday away to Aveley. We wish him well.
